The next room shows some features of the commercial and productive life of the ancient town. The choice from the hundreds of amphoras discovered during land melioration in via Gramsci is a clear sign of the intensive commercial traffic existing between Aquae Statiellae and the seaport of Savona. Besides importing goods from Spain, the suburban furnace in via Cassino used to produce commonly used pottery vases: pots, pans, cups and ewers were certainly mass-produced for local trade. Other tools, as the dies for the production of torches, suggest that there must have been a more specialized kind of handicraft in the town.
